Joyce Fenton

Joyce gave up treading the boards some years ago, in favour of sitting in a cold, dark, draughty corner backstage, shining a torch on the script and doing her best to give confidence to the cast whenever anyone forget their lines!  During rehearsals, Joyce can usually be found standing in for absent cast members, giving encouragement to those who are working on their lines and helping directors to keep their tempers with actors who only seem to have a passing acquaintance with the script.  Although she enjoys prompting, Joyce is also happy to help with props, wardrobe and front of house - anything really, just as long as she doesn't have to get up on stage!

Joyce's first production for Bawds was THE HAPPIEST DAYS OF YOUR LIFE, followed by NEVER THE SINNER, THE MAN IN THE IRON MASK, THE DEEP BLUE SEA, AND A NIGHTINGALE SANG, LITTLE WOMEN, PYGMALION, A MURDER IS ANNOUNCED, DAVID COPPERFIELD, VALENTINE'S NIGHT and DICK BARTON - SPECIAL AGENT.

Shows for other companies include: FOUR NIGHTS IN KNARESBOROUGH, CHICAGO, BOUNCERS, TEACHERS, LETTICE AND LOVAGE, DAISY PULLS IT OFF, SEASON’S GREETINGS, MOVING, FILUMENA, BLITHE SPIRIT, ANDY CAPP: THE MUSICAL, PRIVATE LIVES, HAY FEVER and loads of others she's now forgotten!
