Mike Bartlett

Mike has been involved with Bawds almost as long as he has been a member of The Penguin Club, his earliest contribution being to assist in building the set for EQUUS - as he puts it 'too long ago to remember'. For many years Mike stage managed Bawds outdoor productions at St Edmund's College.

Mike is rarely found on stage unless it is for his local group in Fenstanton, FADS, where, in 1999, he was persuaded onto the boards for Alan Ayckbourn's COMMUNICATING DOORS with some success and in 2001 for HOW THE OTHER HALF LOVES.

His credits for Bawds include: THE SEA, TOM JONES, AS YOU LIKE IT, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER, MACBETH, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, THE WINTER'S TALE, THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, THE MISANTHROPE, THE MANY FACES OF SHAKESPEARE, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, THE GHOST TRAIN, THE SECRET GARDEN, TREASURE ISLAND and THE MOONSTONE.

Productions for other Cambridge companies include: THE TEMPEST, LARK RISE, THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, GREAT EXPECTATIONS, THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE, A TALE OF TWO CITIES, THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS, OKLAHOMA!, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, GIGI, ME AND MY GIRL, 42ND STREET, and THE SECRET DIARY OF ADRIAN MOLE.
