Polly Bissett

Polly made her acting debut for Bawds playing the title role in JANE EYRE (pictured left) Her most recent appearance for the company was in THE MOONSTONE (Dora, Rachel Verinder and Lucy Yolland).

Previous theatrical credits include work at Dartington College of Arts with devised work such as DEJA VU, based on the ideas of Boal, Shakespeare's HAMLET and NTOMBINDI AND THE SNAKE, storytelling for children.  Scripted work at Dartington includes THE UNFORSEEN CONSEQUENCES OF A PATRIOTIC ACT (Judith) and SPRING AWAKENING (Wendla).

Productions for other companies include improvised comedy and plays as a core member of  Amazing Spectacles at venues in and around Cambridge, BLUE REMEMBERED HILLS (Audrey), TWELFTH NIGHT (Curio and Soloist), CRAVE (M), THE MIDNIGHT FOLK (Witch) and THE MERCHANT OF VENICE (Nerissa).
