An early acting role for the company was A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE (Immigration Officer). More recent appearances include DAVID COPPERFIELD (pictured right as Dr Chillip) and UNDER MILK WOOD (Guide Book & others). Directing credits for Bawds include THE SEA,  LANDSCAPE and a Harold Pinter Double Bill CELEBRATION and MONOLOGUE, THE LADY IN THE VAN and ABORTIVE (First Place 2010 Sawston Drama Festival).

Richard has been involved in amateur theatre for more than 30 years, initially as an actor in a wide range of roles for companies in Hereford, Peterborough, Stamford and Oakham and more recently as a writer and director.
